Best Friends, Boyfriends, and Christmas
So it's a Friday night and I'm pitifully sitting at home alone...well not quite alone, I am with the dog. I think that might make the situation worse though...hmmm. Anyway I was suppose to do something with my boyfriend but he kinda flaked out on me. See he's in this band and they had practice today at like 4ish. He said that he's be home by 6 and then we'd go do something. So me being the fool that I am planned my entire evening around him. I had some errands to run, and some chores that I could do but I didn't want to get in the middle of it and then have him call me. Well 6 came and went, 7 came and went and by like 7:30 he still hadn't called me so I called him. Guess what? He's still at band practice and while he'd love to do something with me, he can't. Ok...so I'm a little pissed because I felt it was completely disrespectful to my time but you know I'm sure he just didn't think about it. So now it's 8, I'm home alone, and I'm hungry cuz I haven't eaten dinner either...how sad am I? Luckily for me, unlike many girls I know, I didn't screw over my best friend just because I have a boyfriend. Here comes Erika to save the day!!! So we are going to go see Closer with the oh so dreamy Jude Law and she's gonna spend the night. Looks like I won't be alone and hungry for long!!! Thank goodness for best friends!!!

And just so that this doesn't seem like I have a horrible boyfriend or something, he is really rather sweet most of the time. I'm quite fond of him truth be told. And he's planning this Christmas date thing which I'm very much looking forward to. I'm almost more excited about that then I am about Christmas at all!! He and my mom have been planning all sorts of Christmas mischief so now I'm like dying to know what he's getting me. And what I got him is going to be really special too. I think it's the present I'm most excited to give. So I guess I can't stay pissed at him for long because he's actually very cute and sweet and it's almost Christmas and it's like a law that you can't be mad at your boyfriend at Christmas...at least in my book it's a law.

Since we brought up Christmas I will jump into that subject once more. I am sooo excited for Christmas!!! Not to be totally corny and steal lyrics from a song...but it is seriously the most wonderful time of the year!! I'm not even joking. And it's only two weeks from tomorrow. Plus I get two weeks off which means only one week more of work! Yeah for me! Tiffany and Brian are coming here for Christmas too which is good because it's just not the same without them. I think Erika and I are going to exchange our presents tonight because we're just way to impatient to wait another week and a half! lol So yes Christmas time is very happy for me. Michael already gave me one present. He went out and got me the Clay Aiken Christmas CD and gave it to me on Wednesday. It was very sweet and very out of the blue so that won him some major brownie points! So yeah Christmas is coming, and I can't wait!
